I can see how a song like Salt would be 10 times better live

I was really surprised by how good and fun these guys were live. Especially the keyboard player was completely popping off. Only thing that was a bit cringe is how their intro segment was so Bring me the Horizon inspired, it was kinda cringe. Them playing Outnumbered was awesome though.

And yeah these songs are a lot more fun live

In retrospect i have a lot of respect for the experimentation in "the act", because this is absolutely washed

Always had a soft spot for these guys. This however feels so disjointed. The highlights are absolute bangers but there seems so to be a lot of dull songs on here as well. Guess they'll never touch transit blues again in terms of quality

Experienced the all-time worst coworker metalcore crowd I've ever had to endure when I went to see TDWP two nights ago. These new songs were mostly balls live too. It's actually humorous hearing how much better the old songs are when they're played in conjunction with the Color Defecate stuff.

this is junk food music. sometimes a bite won't hurt but you'll hardly be satisfied on a constant basis. exhibition, watchtower, sacrifice, hallucinate and time are bangers, broken is super sugar coated but a decent pop song. rest is pretty forgettable

Hallucinate was a leftover from ZII if I remember correctly and they repurposed it for this.

i remembered the day it came out everyone was saying Twenty-Five was awful and it really annoyed me bc that song spoke to me in a way even the rest of the album (while enjoyable/great) didn't quite manage. it probably relates even more now that I actually am 25

Broken is pretty enjoyable.

I wasnt into this at all when it came out but it is much better on revisting. Hallucinate is great.
