Quite the wet dream for those who only enjoy the early stuff. I wish they played Teflon again or some Bedlam stuff. Anyway, I hope they tour Europe soon

First time they ever played Atonement live, I believe. It's probably the best opener I can think of for them now. Inertiatic makes so much more sense as a closer/epilogue at this point in their catalogue.

No bedlam makes me sad but quite a lot of deloused, which makes me horny.
Also, I was about to 2.5 this but I have to admit that I like it quite a bit, Cedric sounds great.

Cedric on the forefront can never be a good thing and unsurprisingly it isn't a good thing here. While on Noc his role was more dominant already, the music was less in the background and was given room to breathe. Here he is all over, with few and brief instrumental passages that during which the songs (and the listener) can recover from his permanent wail. Which actually is a pity as the nuanced and subtle psychedelic pop has quite some appeal. But in various songs when you think that finally a moment comes for them to develop, they are abruptly over...

@veldin The host is very cringy, but I enjoyed listening to Omar and Cedric's answers, they seemed very genuine.

Wonder if Cedric ever got closure in the whole Scientologists poisoning the family dogs shit they were dealing with

Yeah most professional interviewers and personas are a bit annoying, but at least he was able to properly guide conversation to pose interesting questions. And yeah, it was great to hear Omar and Cedric talk more openly than they usually do.

I’m quite surprised by the set list tbh, since the promotion for this album was essentially doing away with the past.
Great to see they aren’t doing that
