Still digging this one, the composition seems a bit aimless compared to the previous album, but the overall atmosphere maintain that dreamy-drone characteristic of them, although darker than usual. I like it and i see some potential to grow ever more.

still don’t care for the whole thing too much but lift your head is def one of their best ever songs

I prefer "Death Spells" over this release.
Death Spells succeeded with creating very dense, unique nature-based atmosphere and that very individual sound of being romantically lost in the woods. Sounding something like a dark fairy tale?
With Dimensional Bleed they chose a bit of a different sound. Which is ok but still or in fact here they seem a bit aimless from time to time. This has some really great ideas but doesn't get the point. Unfortunately

I kinda like they didn't go for death spells part 2 sonically, and the haunting dreamy vibe with synths and incomprehensible tapes is really cool. I agree that the composition lacks sometimes and there are few slightly filler tracks here, but of course, it doesn't live up to the first five tracks on deaths spells, simply because nothing can.

Sightless gives me the chills man. When he says quietly “cmere” and the song just traps you 😅

Realized I had a open night today with nothing going on and then seeing that Holy Fawn and Thrice (artist in the ambulance in full) are playing down the street.
Can't wait to see these guys again tonight!

great put-it-on-during-DnD type album, plenty of dynamic crunchy moments to zero in on when there's a lull in the convo but def seems more in tune with the ~~vibe~~ of the full album experience than stuff that rides on THIS SPECIFIC melody THIS SPECIFIC chord change etc

I don’t think it’s that complicated for me Kompy. I enjoy the production mostly. I love all the layers of sound. When the bass kicks in, it’s immense. Some songs have melody, others are more of an art form. The samples, programming and electronics are exquisite. My one complaint are the vocals, clean or scream, are on the low end.
Huh, I just made it complicated, lol.

The distorted bass tone on this is absolutely massive. When it kicks in on Death is a Relief it always makes me smile. One of the best i've ever heard.

For those wondering, Holy Fawn absolutely crushed their opening performance for Thrice. Such a great show. Was excited to find some other big fawn fans up in the front with me.
They also made a few new fans, had some people around me asking me for track names after certain songs.
