In other news, NFL appointed the 3rd party to overlook the Watson appeal. Dude has a track record of prosecuting in sexual assault cases. They might actually bury Watson after all, but I don't want to speak too soon.

I think that Sowing maaaybe did it before? I'm reasonably certain that there have been leagues here before. I've personally never done fantasy, but I might be up to trying it if we're not doing a pay-to-play format.
Preseason is also a joke and everything about it should be ignored, unless it's a good thing about your team, in which case Superbowl ring incoming.

I had no clue there was a football game yesterday until I saw the game thread on reddit this morning. Solid advertising from the league.
RE: Groper Cleveland - the guy they chose to hear the appeal is the same guy that gave Zeke a 6 game suspension for essentially nothing. Watson is probably screwed. I just hope it's at least 2 or 3 seasons, if not forever. One season feels like nothing considering Calvin Ridley is suspended for a year for gambling.

They might do indefinite with opportunity to appeal every year, secures one season for sure and pushes the story down the line. I doubt the league will go for a total ban without appeal, but they do technically have a case to do so. They're positioned pretty well to push for anything.

Indefinite would be a slam dunk for them.
1. Screws the Browns, which pleases the owners; have to remember that they were not a fan of Watson's gigantic contract and his guarantees.
2. Pushes the story out of the picture to make way for the season.
3. Massive PR win in the court of public opinion.
