I wish I knew how to make this blow up outside of this site. More people should be hearing this. Anyhow, I'm just glad this project is finally getting significant recognition here.

The probable metacritic and definite album of the year(dot)org aggregate should help. Even if it’s only a little.

Highly unlikely that there's enough name recognition here for metacritic. Even extremely popular artists who lose some steam don't always even get all their releases added there. Album of the Year is my go-to aggregate site because they cover literally everything, and this release is already there.

There’s one review for this on RYM and it’s so funny

Also the fact that this is 4th on trending is legit insane

Am I absolutely nuts if I think the vocal melody in To The Touch sound like a depressed Beach Boys? Or am I just channeling the leftover energy from Prince Daddy's "Curly Q"?

God, I've missed a Sowingcore Album so much; thank you for the review. Album is great so far (I'm at Track 5).

I just became a dad eight months ago and this seems like a great soundtrack for the coming months : )

YoYo ngl I hear a lil bit of Sufjan in your voice at times on the title track, it really fits the song

Also "Purple Envelope" is a hard 5

To get this #1 trending we'll need a few more 4.5's and 5's ;-)

Sufjan is an interesting comparison I hadn't thought of before. I can hear it a little, but I think there's also noticeable differences to distinguish. I think Jack's voice is ideally suited for this style of emo-rock/shoegaze.

Purple Envelope is stunning, agreed hard.

There's something so wholesome about Atari enjoying this. It just feels like an Atari album. Also, it reminds me so much of his first few comments on my Yellowcard Southern Air review. When I saw that album clicking for him way back in 2012, I knew our tastes would overlap.
