onionbubs what're your issues with Survivor's Guilt? Far and away my favourite track of the bunch here lol

the high pitched "no no no!" is annoying as hell lol and the synth intro clashes so much w the vibe of the rest of the album and feels esp shattering to the vibe following mistaken information.

i kinda respect it tho since its so dramatically out of place to me in a way that feels almost intentional. i also do kinda like the song dall and george are both great on it, its j hard to compete w how much i like the bulk of the rest of the stuff here

That's fair, I can respect those criticisms. After Mistaken Information it is a bit jarring, probably could've been placed elsewhere to greater effect.

But man that hook is insane though. That little guitar lead in the verse too ooooh. Song goes hard as fuck I think you're hella underrating it haha

It is absolutely killing me that the sound on the album makes this borderline unlistenable. There are some good songs here, some snoozers but man…they shit the bed with this production.

I have no problem with the production, but I've listened to the last PUP a lot so...

I'm still trying to process this album. Reminds me of the stylistic shift between HIL's I Am Hollywood and Suck Out the Poison. Obviously, this has been a much more gradual change, but I haven't followed AOF closely since Watch Out/Crisis. "Blue Spade" and "Dark Night" have really grown on me.

Dark Night and Reverse the Curse are some of the best goddamn tracks they have ever made oml

imo they are simply never gonna hit levels like Crisis or Watch Out! again but i greatly respect how well they have transitioned into a different beast without sacrificing identity. They still have some bite and vocally they still manage to sound wildly invigored while implementing something more of a desert rock vibe (nevermind my absolute lack of knowledge on that specific style lmao).

Prolly a strong 4 on this baby but needs many more jams.

Bruh peep that setlist from the show last night. Probably the best they've had since like 2008
