Unexpected, but very welcome. Maybe a sign that more albums will have a vinyl edition too. Phalaris got one last year.

I've read an interview by DEG where they state that they consider themselves a live-focused band forefront and they treat their studio albums as sort of rough drafts for concerts.
No wonder many of their songs are improved live.

Considering they just announced they are releasing 3 live Blu Rays of the Phalaris tour we're about to get a ton of it.

Looks like I am seeing Dir live again this year, but in Japan this time for their massive androgynos gig. Shall be rad.

cool man! the production values will be off the chart on their own turf, i'm jealous. the crowd will be so much more respecting than the trash one i was lumped with when i saw them, too haha.

One thing that made Mode Uroboros in London so incredible for me was...the fans believe it or not. There was no dickhead behaviour throughout the whole show, I made friends there, and everyone kept quiet for all the ballads. A miracle considering their gigs in the past. There was a level of rabid excitement which won't be recreated in Japan too. They kept their usual domestic production values for that tour as well, and getting a view so close to the band ain't gonna happen in my Japan show.
However, yes it is nice that I'm gonna see them on their home turf and at an event which is as iconic as their Budokan shows. The production will be fantastic.

Damn, I didn't expect it to be such garbage. This album makes Insulated World decent, and ARCHE - a damn masterpiece.
It started more or less promising, then made me sus, and after the song that belongs more to Sukekiyo it went straight to sh*t. Its plain disrespectful: from arrangements and mix quality to Kyo's silly howling.
I wish the guys all the best, they've already gifted this world with 5 masterpiece albums and 2-3 solid ones, but after Phalaris I stopped telling people I listen to DEG when we talk about music.

I mean, it’s far from perfect, but I think there are some decent tracks on here.

This has taken a bit to really grow on me, but after watching some of the live videos, it made me look at these songs differently and in a more meaningful way. This album is phenomenal. This clip of Oboro is devastating.

Yeah that Oboro performance is one of the band's best ever. Was incredible to see that, Otogi, and Kamuy live in person this year.

The one clip of Tousei has always been my favorite, but that one^ blew me away. The emotion and showmanship is outstanding.

Dir are inconsistent but when the stars align, they deliever in a way no other band can. Looking forward for them releasing the concert I saw them in Japan on Blu Ray.

Finally watched the Phalaris tour final live Blu Ray; made this album nearly on the level as their best. One of their better shows, a must watch.
