There's a few I haven't really come around to yet (Blurred View comes to mind) but on the whole I am loving this.

sparrow is good but not great. def had that potential but I guess ultimately I agree that just repeatin those virtues ad nauseam isnt gonna get it there quite

Spud is the tune I most want to listen to over and over. Early tracklist placement helps in that regard though because there are definitely other big boiz in the later portions.

spud just hits in a very emotionally resonant way. what IS it gonna take?!

This has great replay value considering how long it is, I like every song to varying degrees. My top five (not ranked) right now would probably be Change, Red Moon, Promise Is A Pendulum, 12,000 Lines, and Simulation Swarm.

I basically like the singles and the only place most but it's kind of an astounding package

"ad nauseam" is a pretty sketchy way of glossing over the anguish when lenker finally takes it an octave up on sparrow. huge payoff perfectly proportional to that level of repetition

thats fair. it's hard to say: sometimes I like a song that's just one melody/progression sometimes I dont. must be little things playing around the edges of the repetition that get me there or don't. it's a good song tho. really didn't like it as a single but like it now. "formula" is definitely an interesting concept with this album imho. love it

Best thing I can say for this is that it’s been a good while since an album this long made me want to really sink in and discover every little detail like this one does.

Colt look at the users digging this itt, it obviously ain’t no fucking metalcore. But yes, I think you’d like this as long as you don’t get pleb filtered by the country-ish stuff here.

this album confirms that this band is as "in tune" as their wacky 2019 album covers would like you to think
