I think the highlights here are stellar. Tracks 2 through 6 are all classics imo. But outside of that, 2nd tier AnCo is a very apt description. Last three songs do almost nothing for me

Could be because I'm huge Scott Walker fan, but 'Walker' is up their with their best pop-oriented material for me.

Ha—I feel like this one is moreso proof of the “Skiffs 2” (what fans were calling it—lots of timeline overlap in terms of composition I think)/homogenization model, but I I like it too. Feels kind of like an unusually pure beach boys/Grateful Dead transmission

I vaguely remember it, I don't think they played the whole 22 minutes but I remember enjoying it more than the others I wasn't familiar with at the time.
same as with Soul Capturer, loving Defeat a lot now that I am listening to it again. Both added to my anco playlist
