I think he suited what they were doing back then- a song like "Fightboat" is just so distant from the sounds of this record. But that's what's so great about this band's discog on the whole

yeah the thing with this band is that hardly any of their work is missable so give assorted works a go / been getting back into Always Foreign and like it a lot more this time round
