something something lightning - lightning has currently stuck approx 2.5 times on this album so far, which is maybe more than i was expecting. at this point i want my beer to be over so that i can start a new fresh beer. am also hungry again. that "i wanna go-oo-oooo" reminds me of something really strongly. maybe it's the Veils again idk, this doesn't rly sound like them. maybe something off their fourth album??? i didn't love that one although i have good mems of when i had it on rotation in italy. maybe i do like it. i don't like this hook as much as the previous two tracks'. this guitar solo really doesn't feel earned. very tepid on this one.

"why is Jolteon so angry?"

watch the background carefully and you will hopefully see why

Too scared to attend to the background in case of demonic exposure.

now you know what the de in lana del rey stands for

bialystok - is this after the Producers character or is he after something i don't know of. of course this is neek's favourite song lmfao i do not like this chorus it's some underbaked overamplified fleet foxes sillyness for preppy babysuits who don't want to admit they need fewer haircuts and more massages. KILL

at least floor - repetitive chorus again, which i do not rate. reminds me of one of my initially less favourite seiko oomori tracks from her DIY indie folk days for similar reasons and chords. apart from the chorus i do q rate this as a change of pace. good sequencing: this album has it?? this track is neither here nor there individually but it's good for the album ig

cold blooded - i like these angsty af verses a lot. what does that say about me. i was waiting for it to burst into the chorus of Bare Hands by PUP but instead it hit another oneliner. it was p good compared to the album's other oneliner choruses tbh. i quite like this one, am getting the sense that things have peaked but this is good pop emoindie rock stuff, very 3.5 will spin again this summer

if i believed in love - i waited more than a minute for something to happen and now it's happening. this song is running away with itself and maybe me. sounds like brand new but also a bolting rabbit or something. i feel it. yeah ig chalk this up as another largely successful bop wait shit the bed fuck there is only one song left and it's seven minutes long lol this isn't Panorama oh heck i did like that album's closer maybe i'll like this one

closer - oh okay it's gonna be epic isn't it. ah yes. this is the "oh yeah guys remember we were the band who made NMG weren't we um let's do that but a different kinda forlorn because we've gotta sound like we're out of energy now because it's the end of the album" song. sorry noro you ascendant house where we all live past-due good times are killing me -song but this ain't OH wtf there's a coda and change of rhythm and tone and stuff. and now a guitar solo that doesn't really rock but is perhaps trying. i don't feel the rapture but it is cool that the song did that! i will go away and listen to Nine Stories now. p good album about on par with NMG i'm hungry

gotta love those tipsy track by track review lol

Releasing Speak With the Dead as a single was an awful idea, now I stop the record at that track because I know it by heart.

"I feel like the odd one out saying Lightning is probably one of my absolute favorites on here"

You're not alone though. Outside of the obvious highlights like 737 and Speak With The Dead, Lightning is easily one of my faves. It's top 5 here for sure and I think it's probably the most purely catchy/memorable song on the album.
