@Faded agreed. Just listened to Missing Bodies listing on a flight 3 or so times through and it held my attention wayyyyy more than Bodies itself. Finally can appreciate the new work.

On another note, some thoughts on the "unfinished ideas" criticism of this album. All the songs strike me as complete. I'm not a song-writer so maybe I'm missing something, but I feel like all the ideas here resolve and land in appropriate conclusions. Where you might find room to criticize is in the scale of the ambition with which these ideas are developed. These are quite 'small' songs, which don't push their ideas toward anything too grandiose or stretching. I can understand finding that unsatisfying.
Personally, I like their approach here. All the songs feel tight. I think they are all catchy and heartfelt. What they lack in ambition they make up for in execution imo.

ehhh, my underdone execution criticism still persists buuuut i still really enjoy these. was listening to Back From The Flesh and Death of The Party recently after a while and still really liking them but they could just go so much further.
Ultimately it's like they had interesting ideas but executed them rather safely so they never sound completely unsatisfying but god, that extra push could have made this album really really special
