I quite like that they're doing their own thing. As Ron Swanson says, better to whole ass one thing than half ass two. That integrity is admirable.
Inevitably they will come across as pretentious, but even with them not being on Spotify and 'algorithm friendly', the new record sold out in multiple variants very quickly on Pelagic's site.

After two full listens the new album is right on track with this one. I could do without the soundbytes though, they seem a little old man shaking his fist at the kids, but great music all around.
