I love Converge. The two don't truly compare though. Such different sounds in similar genres.

I would disagree, but I haven't heard anything that sounds like this except for Jane Doe recently. What else sounds like this (and not Converge)?

even that is a little bit of a stretch imo, Converge also just isnt as mathy as they used to be either.

but i see the crossover appeal considering the band has had two drummers that played with Converge and one with Dillinger

Don't hear any Converge in this sound. This band is fairly unique. I still think the cleans sound like Dan Boeckner from Wolf Parade but the music itself doesn't sound like Wolf Parade.
