Seems like Kevin Abstract is the only one with the potential of actually pulling of a decent solo career so i hope because of that the rest of the boyband will pressure him towards regrouping eventually lol

Kevin's solo music has been boring as fuck so far though

Joba could do some really interesting shit if he wants to

I really enjoy the bulk of kevin's pre-brockhampton solo stuff, and arizona baby had quite a few great individual tracks as well

Always loved this track in particular which i don't think is on streaming anymore: https://youtu.be/hAU5jvX6z98?t=108

Yeah definitely seems like they're half assing an album to get out of their contract faster

Oh well, Ill just pretend this was their last if the new one sucks

Cause the last few tracks on this album are a perfect sendoff imo

What's funny is I feel like their new one is some of their best shit, only problem being it does feel like a solo project and the songs are wayyyyyy too short.

It being a Kevin solo project is kind of cool as a personal statement of the band. Ciaran's insta post explaining it made a lot of sense too. Will be no doubt disappointing to a lot of fans, but what we got is still pretty good

hmmmmm so 2/3s into the family and.... its just a kevin abstract solo album where he bitches about the rest of the group the whole time????

i cannot think of a more depressing career trajectory for a group than these guys. period.

I'm wondering if that's done for a reason, like this album is going to be him and the next album will be the group? Probably reading too much into it and I've never kept up with all their bullshit anyways. Just nice to hear one of their projects not collapse into a bunch of mediocre R&B ballads.

Block Hemzell is no more.

FMG, New Shoes, Crucify Me, and Man on the Moon were highlights for me. The last three tracks were unbelievably underwhelming.

TM is hot garbage haha. The Family has some bops and is a nice thematic closer to BH. TM does and says nothing.
