ok it's starting to click, nice
But I'm still thinking Ed don't stand a chance against Paul on this album

Ed's vocals have always been really whiny and yet he's probably the only vocalist I can think of where it doesn't bother me. Maybe it's due to the bands instrumentation being so damn tight and on this record it's shared with Paul's outstanding cleans

The dude from Red always had a good whiny voice to me

Ed's vocals have this really endearing charm to them, he's on the road to becoming like on the same level to me as Spencer Sotelo, I just need to jam all their stuff more.

For any Paul Green fans... I just randomly thought of this...He has a sweet feature with A Dark Orbit - Pretty Guts.

The Narcissist is the only track that stuck with me after hearing it once.
Hope it grows on me, but I fear I'll not like this as much as B&C and AFH

I absolutely love B&C, so I hear you there. This one does grow though. After having more time to listen to this album, I can confirm that i don't prefer this, but only by a small margin. This album's vocals are amazing but I think I prefer the instrumentation and songs in general on B&C. Awesome band.

That's an unpopular opinion but I also love that album. Every album by them has great emotion! One of my favourite bands ever.

Can I get a check Rinoa in chat

Rinoa did it best, but honestly these guys have the best vox with Paul

Rinoa is on another level. But Devil Solid His Soul is just a small level beneath, I'd say. And their bass player was in Rinoa, so that's also a bonus haha

the vocal trading of Ed and Paul is next level on this. frankly there's a chance this may tie Empire of Light in my eyes.

"Empire of Light's their best to me."
Agreed, never understood why it's so ill received. I will say the first few tracks are a little weak for their standards but once you get to Sorrow Plagues the rest of the album destroys.
