I mean, this just goes nowhere imo. Very much background music, especially compared to their others.

So after all these years I've come to a conclusion this is an absolutely perfect and flawless record in every possible way. The album is one huge build-up and there is not a single misplaced note. There are many brilliant things along the way like those creaking ship samples or familiar Kauan piano loops but of course that Raivo / Ote / Hauta finale is pure catharsis.
It has very few vocal lines and that's amazing. The story behind it is dark and mysterious and the music suits it in the most excellent way. On top of all this, unbelievable pristine production, vast as the northern skies, deep as the Polar Ocean. Huge cinematic reverb on everything but especially guitars giving them that eerie and ominous vibe. Never heard anything like this in any other music I'm familiar with.
All in all, my favourite by Kauan, surpassing even Aava Tuulen Maa.

mirroring that the last three songs are like, the best 3-song stretch this band has made thus far - just a shame the first half doesn't quite live up to it
