Great album, although I do still prefer Thank U Next and Dangerous Woman a bit more

Yeah this is better than the last two but Dangerous Woman reigns supreme. This one has some godly production I gotta say

It’s tough for me, they’re all pretty close except Sweetener, which I still love but there’s a bigger gap between it and the others imo. This keeps growing though.

I think it's because Ari kinda has that same cult following that Carly Rae Jepsen has. I mean yeah, Ari's obviously a lot more popular than Carly is, but still, they both have a fascinating niche of indie fans and metalheads who bump their shit too

I definitely agree with that. Speaking only for myself, while I certainly do still enjoy more "mindless" (don't take that too seriously) radio pop, Ariana has a talent/work ethic that I would normally associate with metal. I know that sounds kind of neckbeard-y elitist, but I'm not sure how else to phrase it.

Oh yeah, totally. I'd love to hear her do a metal collab with someone in the future. Especially if it was her trading vocals off with someone who could do death growls, or a Candlemass-style doom metal band that could take advantage of her upper register

That would be cool too. I have faith that she could really do w/e she wanted.

Yeah, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she pulled a Poppy and just started going off in a bunch of crazy directions
