How far down the charts do you guys think this will fall... before finding its forever home?

unless the band blows up i don't think this is going past 120 ratings anytime soon, probably will stay a 4 or above for awhile. even if i'm wrong i think it doesn't go below a 3.9 considering a 3.85 is still a 3.9 for sputnik.

I'm gonna guess 4.11, stays in top 10 by the end of the year, all around being positive

I really don’t know what to make of this, it’s kind of all over the place. It has a vibe of sorts, but also has weird sequencing. It has these attractive post-rock elements, then descends into noir-tinged indie schmindie bobbins with a side dish of something else? I don’t actually know what that means. Idk I’m just very confused right now.

I totally get that. I felt there were Naked And Famous and even Editors stretches sometimes. Totally weird. But it also works I think.

It made you feel things you couldn't explain? Sounds like 5/5 behavior.

yeah, it is doomesque, then almost Editors/ The National at times....then really post/prog. I understand Demon feeling unsettled.

Yeah the ‘Editors stretches‘ need a good culling on initial inspection Trif. Hopefully the 2nd listen provides some clarity because there’s something decent hidden here, maybe, I think.

It's really weird how things get together...I find myself listening to the new Enslaved (Norway), then someone (garas) hit me with the rec of Gaahls Wyrd (Norway), regarding progBM. This after I was jamming that Motorpsycho a few weeks back, which is also a Norwegian band. Now listening to some Brit post band the name Gaahls Wyrd comes into the picture...wtf...
Dew could have a part in this if it wasn't this garas rec, which plays the main part X)

For sure Demon. I find this very hard to rate after three complete listens. Will go back in tomorrow.

garas and dedex got me into Hallas, DDD got me into Slift, I think we've come full circle.

So I've played this album several times now but only ever on Spotify, and my only real complaint is that the audio seems quieter than other albums. Not sure if this is a problem with Spotify audio compression or if it's just the mixing in general but going from The Killers' Sam's Town to this makes this sound noticeably quieter.

My guess is The Killers' mastering being over the top, since they are sort of a mainstream band and need to hit up radio stations. But I am also talking out of my ass.
