"There’s not a lot to separate this and the last National Album"

Hence why they are both 4/5s

Peace would have been so much better as an interlude. There isn't enough there to flesh out a full song's worth.

"Lifeless album with typical Taylor Swift pretentiousness and cringe. Perfect for white suburban America."

I like the 1, cardigan, exile, seven, and betty. Seven is easily the best song on here, I think. The rest of this I find pretty boring and forgettable unfortunately.

Gave this a listen finally. It is pretty good folksy indie pop but nothing amazing. A few tracks I’ll probably keep in the rotation it this album needs some fat trimmed bad. Still better than anything she’s done in years so points there
