CODA was most definitely 'prepared' by them. Outside of the two covers, all songs were written by Page and Plant (with a little participation from Jones and Bonham as well) and was produced by Jimmy Page just like their 8 other studio LP's.

Yeah but they still worked on them and didnt discard them at all. I disagree though, PG is awesome but has some filler, as you pointed out, and its not my fav Zep album

half of pg is songs that was thrown out of previous albums. same for the entire coda.
now are you telling me that songs like down by the seaside are obviously bad just because the band didnt picked them for the album

Down by the Seaside is awesome, but the minority of PG is weaker imo. i disagree about PG being the best Dont get me wrong, i love PG and Zep, just gave my opinion on Coda
