This is shocking to me since she's been very woke, spoke up about her MAFS Australia fiance being homophobic and faux-woke....maybe she was projecting, but maybe her blind spot is just that huge and it was all performative.

I don't imagine the band would fire someone if this was alllll taken out of context. They would have sat down and talked with her and gotten the full details. Right? Still waiting for her side of the story to emerge, since she claims it's out of context, but it's not looking good.

Man I usually love finding the true grey area in an issue like this. Communication is tough, and reading truncated text-based communication online, especially one sent between close friends, can be riddled with misinterpretation in which we falsely contextualize the words in our heads as we read them.

Miscommunication is the devil and at fault for most of our problems.

But this? I'm wracking my brain for how this was anything but not-totally-consensual sex. Even if it was a gag or sarcasm or an inside reference, I can't see any sane adult in 2022 thinking that's OK to type, if even because of how it could be misinterpreted.

Apparently to Booka, consent applies only to males. Bizarre. If a partner seemed anything less than 100% conscious and consenting, I would feel gross doing anything sexual. How do these people's brains work? Does their narcissism tell them to fulfill their urges first and foremost and logic takes a backseat?

Once you got beyond the pretty pictures it was easy to see she was just a virtue signalling narcissist. Anyone that ever followed her social media accounts could tell you that.

Pretty much sums it up I think. Had to cut someone out of my own life for that exact thing. Seemingly a good dude until he wanted something, and then that "want" took priority over literally everything, and it usually resulted in people around him getting fucked over. I was left to wonder if there was ever going to be a line he wouldn't cross to "get his."

Holy shit they actually kicked out the self-centered, narcissistic, shallow lady that now also apparently likes involuntary penis. That part about wanting to have someone's baby for the lulz was so evil I actually kinda found it impressive tho. Her chorus in Contraband was catchy, but it's definitely better that she's gone, since she was shifting the band's focus way too much.

Also, sexual abuse of males is in some ways even worse than that of females, because a man that's not intoxicated, drugged or coerced with a weapon will usually have no problem fighting off a female assaulter. I don't count "resigning oneself" even though it isn't exactly consent, because it's never the only option for a guy that literally isn't weaker than the chick or in a state that would not make him fit to consent
