I checked again, and I don't hear the comparison at all. Jeff has zero charisma in his voice, and whatever guitar riffs he comes up with almost never hit hard - and that's a pretty crucial element for any punk subgenre. It's okay if you like more basic stuff, that's fine. But I find this kind of punk (menzingers and wonder years too) pretty lame.
