Agreed they need to keep their songs short. Album's good overall but it'd be nice to get some more guitars

The guitar noises on Sundays are pretty annoying though. Both the BOW WOW, BOW WOW and the ending shit whatever it is

I didn't think you would enjoy this too much bloc, the guitars are not all that memorable. Hammond is a beast I don't understand how they arrived at this product.

Yeah seems a lil aimless guitar wise but I do appreciate the dabbles into other genres like psychedelic rock and even post rock ig

And who said Eternal Summer is the worst song here should just grab a musical pistol and shoot himself in the head, musically....

Also I hear the complaints about lengthy songs...I think the album flows super nice...my only issue is with the track Sundays...the song is indeed depressing towards bad eheh...

Unlike this one, First Impressions of Earth f.e. really suffers from that issue...

I think I shoot myself in the head, musically, at least two or three times a week

Interesting that there is such a disparity between sputnik's rating of this and rym's. It's at 3.60 there which is usually a 4 around here, and yet this will probably drop to 3.5-3.6 soon.

Agreed there is a lot of lame guitar playing on this, but I'd prefer they stop driving much of these songs with synths and stick to just guitars. It's what they do best.

TNA really does remind me of some of the more experimental touches of First Impressions Of Earth, just stretched out to an album format. Produces similar results, both good and bad - I think Angles was a better representation of them doing new things while also retaining the characteristics that made them awesome, like the wicked guitar interplay that is really lacking on this one. It's certainly not a bad record, but it just kind of exists though... it's really missing that Strokes energy and feels more suited to a Julian project. I like the risks they are taking with their sound and it is better executed than in the past, but still doesn't strike the proper balance imo.
