What's not wrong with them is the better question

That’s a pretty cop out answer man if you’re gonna rag on a band at least have a good reason other than “they’re overhyped”, especially when they’re the most influential band in the genre
Anyway how did this convo come up in a Grimes thread

Trebor Alesana plays instruments, fucking GYBE fucking goes in the kitchen, and drops pans on the floor, open doors and slam them, water the fucking flowers and watch a train go by, then calls it music.

for every track i really like on here (delete forever, so heavy, before the fever) there's one i absolutely cannot stand (darkseid, my name is dark, you'll miss me when i'm not around)
there's some really clever moments on this record but i feel the quality's mega inconsistent

Darkseid is literally the #1 song here.

Agreed with Noctus. There are some homeruns here but every time I start to get into this a song pops up like Darkseid which disrupts the flow and annoys the shit out of me

Darkseid is the best track off the album.
First album of hers I finally listened to in its entirety. Pretty solid. But nothing groundbreaking.

Darkseid would have been awesome had it not been for those shitty annoying vocals. So Heavy and Delete Forever are soooooo much better than anything else here and it's really noticeable. Don't think I like this nearly as much as Art Angels

'Darkseid would have been awesome had it not been for those shitty annoying vocals.'
The rest of the tune just sounds like two different types of bass pulses, fukkin dire
Tune cuts out and then you get the horrific Disney Club intro to 'Delete Forever'
There's a good bit in '4æm' is all I remember as a positive from this album.
