I was trying to think of a genre representing the direction this band has been going in, and I thought post-metalcore and ambient electronic seemed fitting. I was in my car listening to The Act and Transit Blues thinking of genres and was like "oh, post-metalcore, THAT'S what they're doing. Yes, that's it!"
I went to see what others were tagging the band here, and noticed post-hardcore already had 6 votes but not enough to be one of the main tags. So I added my own tags, including post-hardcore, and now it's on the band page. I was the tipping point!

I listened to it a couple times and I still haven't landed squarely on an informed opinion yet. I'm feeling like a 3.5, but I could see it moving up or even down. I wanna get more familiar, seeing them with Norma Jean in a couple weeks.
