Personally I'd probably like Rocket and HoS more if I hadn't heard all his albums, and various b-sides a ton beforehand. Don't get me wrong they rule and still have some absolute top tier tracks, but none of them resonate with me as a whole like a few of his past releases.



Yeah I remember catching him and elvis depressedly right after he dropped DSU and he yelled to the top of his lungs when playing "Animals" it was so good.

I've heard his discog barring race and honestly everything outside of his last 3 albums sounds pretty generic by comparison. Beach music was especially boring

beach music is def one of my least favorites by him, a lot of it sounds rehashed/average by his standards. I love trick/dsu, but I can't argue against anyone preferring his newer stuff. He really brought some new elements into sound
