I'm happy that these guys managed to create their masterpiece. Sucks they called it quits, but you can't go out on a higher note.

I've said it before, but I would've been ALL over a vinyl variant if they just did one final run... a nice gold vinyl version. But I got the impression they wanted to drop their magnum opus and leave things at that, be it for band drama or their frustration at the music industry. Fair play either way, but maaan I could've paid top dollar for that lol

I experienced a very beautiful moment listening to this album. Spotify immediately played the chorus of Hotel California after Pirouette finished. Gorgeous

Yes we are gathered here today to remember "Pirouette of Hysterics" is one of the best songs to ever be a song. Discuss.

I remember being so hype waiting for this to drop and it managed to deliver on basically everything I wanted. I didn't quite expect how their style would evolve, but man, these guys truly became something special at the end.

To think they were deathcore once. . . . .

It looks like they're called Black Passage. Had an album out in 2019.

It would take a lot to ever match this. Part of what makes this so poignant is how much they were all going through emotionally, especially knowing that they were killing the project. How quickly they did so, and with zero fanfare/merch/etc, still does make me wonder what happened behind the scenes.

But they got together with that pressure in mind and knocked it out of the fucking park.
