@trif, personally i'd recommend listening to his discog chronologically (as me, cosmic, and relinquished have debated extensively in here lol) but if you want to hear indicative examples of the various distinct developments in his career i would recommend the following

Permutation for his quintessential d&b, trip hop, breaks era

Supermodified for his "spy music" phase of techno-organic bombast

Foley Room for his transition into electroacoustic and field recording elements

and ISAM for the beginnings of his evolution into sound sculpture

Oof yeah, even though that album is growing on me still, I'm also disappointed by how lazy it is. I mean, I can't deny I'm enjoying it but I expected so much more than a simple rehash of so many old tracks. Pfff.
