Feel like this one is going to be a grower, I think I prefer HEY WHAT over this after the first couple listens

man this also rips hard. The Invisible Way was so boring that I kinda stopped paying attention to their new stuff but it turns out that album was probably an outlier.

i've actually only heard this and hey what. i should check out their other stuff. this is just so good. the blend of dream pop/glitch/slowcore is so well done. need more stuff like this.

I need to get into this band started jamming “I could live in hope” and was vibing

@Futures
Their late career took a pretty unexpected (imo) direction. I wouldn't say this and Hey What sound a lot like the first part of their career. A lot more experimental. But I guess "standard" slowcore was experimental at some point as well...
regardless, they rule hard. I Could Live in Hope, Things We Lost in the Fire, Trust, The Curtain Hits The Cast, Long Division ... all excellent albums.
It will be interesting to rate their discog now that's it's done. Maybe I'll give it a go.

Keep forgetting to jam this

I basically started backwards, HEY WHAT was the first album of theirs I heard all the way through, even though I knew their song Sunflower when I was in college. Now this is the second one I've listened to all the way, I have to start from the beginning

yeah aids i was reading up a bit about them when i listened to this. really interesting story and evolution. but i am a big fan of more standard slowcore as well, need to get to the discog eventually.

Love Low yet this one has eluded me thus far. Their early stuff is essential slowcore and HEY WHAT is an all-timer of a reinvention. This, yeah idk what to make of it (pending my yearly revisit).
