First half of their first album is tight.

I'll revisit Blueprints as many times as I need to solidify my opinion on it. For now, I can't do most of it, it's kind of tough to deal with. Deadweight has more that I think is solid.

Honestly, the production and the whole "lol who needs riffs when you have drop g chugging" aesthetic ruins it for me.

Yeah I can't deal with excessively front loaded or backloaded albums. Either you're getting through the good stuff and left with nothing else to look forward to or you're trudging through shit until you get to the gems.

Eh, the album ain't that bad, but I think there was almost 0 promotion for this album prior to its release tbh, just seemed like the record label sent this album out to die...

I hope it's the final nail in the coffin, band should quit and the drummer and guitarist should find good bands to join

we can agree there at least, One-X is still a great album. idk i have a soft spot for phc bands trying post-grunge, partly because of the vocals. i can just imagine early gerard way (like Bullets era) covering say, a Creed song, and making it way fucking better for example.

Matty carries this album on his back though lol, the instrumentation is so unimpressive and bland

he carries it while simultaneously stomping it into the ground. the instruments may be boring, but the lyrics and vocal delivery make it embarrassing.

I wouldn't even really call this album Risecore, it has more in common with just average heavier radio rock than with any of their previous work
