I got that Masterplan B side too. And holy shit Rockin' Chair and it's definitely when they were just writing hit after hit.

That's what I read somewhere. Gotta be wild to see them both live again.

It's been a while. Heh I am way more hyped (always was) for new Oasis material than Linkin Park. I never followed Oasis much in the later years but just the fact how much they hated each other and that they put out incredibly popular albums in North America. Hey I still like Wonderwall, I just think Champagne Supernova drags.

Why is rjesudas so angry about Oasis? I know they got overplayed and got irrelevant, but I wrote a better soundoff, I could have really took it all into consideration. But This album isn't a 1.0.

Let me be the one who shines with you

In the morning, we don't know what to do.

Supersonic made a lot of things better.

the final two minute build that gradually gets louder and explosion with the solo at the end of slide away is one of the best moments in music

The fact this band did the impossible and actually delivered going above and beyond the hype is one of the greatest things in musical history.

^I looked that up and it seems like a really cool old version, but I was expecting a 2025 version which one of the commenters was all I hope I hear them do this now.

was a hater for a long ass time but giving them another try in light of the reunion

this album is lowkey brilliant?

think what's fucked me up for so long is that the mixes are dominated by these big giant rhythm guitars that kinda drown out the drums and lead guitar and even the vocals at points on top of the songs being seemingly never ending. but after beating my head against the wall for a little while its kinda all clicked into place and the vibes are immaculate.

many such cases! but the huge guitars are a selling point for me. unique sounding albums that just sound absolutely massive. nothing has ever sounded like this again.

yeah def agree that there really isn't anything else i've heard that has quite this sound. its about as close as you can get to shoegaze while remaining firmly rock and roll and sounds increasingly better the louder you turn the volume up
