Apparently, Doof. But the album doesn't come anywhere near pissing me off at any point. Even Propaganda is still kind of fun. I see no reason for this to be regarded among the likes of every album in my 1's and 1.5's. Nothing here even comes close to that level of garbage. The most this is guilty of is being bland.

Agreed. I reserve 1s for albums that I find excruciating to sit through (the new ID or that retched Waterparks album I recently endured for example). This one wasn't painful until it hit around track 8 and then it became a slog.

It really wasn't a slog for me, but I feel ya. I've seen sources that are into their style praise Waterparks but I'll tread carefully.

I love me some good pop/punk (i.e. Yellowcard, Paramore, even some All Time Low) but my goodness that Waterparks album was dreadful. I'm afraid to spin their new one tbh. Back to this album, even the portion I found really boring wasn't awful. It went from a 3 in the opening three songs, to a 2 during the middle portion, to a 1.5 in the final three song stretch.
EDIT: Actually, "The Void" wasn't too bad. I'd place that in the 3 territory.
