Just finished and can't say the new one did much of anything for me. Feels toothless compared to Vitriola. Will spin it at least one more time before rating but my first impression was a 2.5-3. :-(

Cursive has some of the worst sound quality on their albums. Questionable production and overly loud mastering. Such a shame as their music is great.

Holy shit new album is such a banger! As someone who’s been following Tim Kasher’s career for 2 decades it is so cool to hear him still writing great music. Love that the new album has a larger palette of sounds and instruments.
