lmao true. Anyone got any good electronic recs from this year? Really digging Yves Tumor and A.A.L. rn, in addition to the catchier stuff off this.

Yeah, luci, your list is actually what inspired me to check this! It's just so long lmao. Like, good on you, it's a sweet list, but I don't have time for all of that.

Honestly, anything that sounds like Ponyboy, Faceshopping and Immaterial off of this, or that Yves Tumor album in general. I really liked that.

I'm a total electronic noob so I have no idea what half the genres on your list mean in any tangible way.

For accessible albums this year I'd check Jon Hopkins, Skee Mask and DJ Healer. Sophie and Yves are quite unique, can't think of good comparisons for 2018 stuff.

Oh, hey yeah, I forgot Hecker dropped an album this year, I liked Virgins a lot. I heard some of that Low project too, I've been meaning to return to that. Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Can someone explain to me why I like this & if there anything similar out there? Completely bewildered by how much I'm enjoying the album... talk about an unexpected revelation.

Yes Demon! There's more for sure.

saw this list a while back

Also check the Crumbling by Mid-Air Thief it's got a more folky upbeat vibe but you may dig that as well cause there are some similarities in the construction of the beats.

So is 'Deconstructed Club' an accurate phrase for describing this sort of thing? I've heard it before & had no idea what it was, save for a few possible name-based assumptions. Thanks, that list looks like a good start.
