bands first 3 releases (hand of blood here in the ol u.s., poison, and scream aim fire) are awesome sauce but the rest nah dog. idk fever might be cool I should revisit ive got it on cd but I think some songs were just so bad that it ruined the whole thing (im looking at you bittersweet memories go die)

Can't stand their early stuff. I didn't really enjoy their music until Venom.

Wow

Yeah that's an even bigger hot take than what I've been saying. For me it goes Poison, Fever, then this.

More notes: the Hand of Blood EP is probably right below The Poison for me, and Bittersweet Memories is like top 3 on Fever fym Drifter

I mean, The Poison is generally regarded as this band's opus, and for once I actually agree with the mob on that one. It's the rankings below that where it gets a bit dicey with the heat of the take, aside from maybe the fact that I have Temper Temper on the bottom where it belongs.

@Drifter: Yeah I don't think you'll change your mind too far on that one. I don't think there's been a single time I've listened to that song where I thought "oh this shit's garbage," though. Despite being a huge popular single, that's always been one of my top Bullet tracks. The fucking emotion always gets to me.

maybe ill listen to it later if i remember. most of what ive been jamming recently is r&b and indie folk/rock so who knows if i'll be in the mood

A top 10 for me at this point would probably look something like this:

The End

Room 409

Pretty On the Outside

Bittersweet Memories

Hit the Floor

Alone

10 Years Today

All These Things I Hate

Her Voice Resides

A Place Where You Belong

@Drifter: Maybe you will, yeah. I don't suppose you'll become a mega-fan like I am, but it could probably move up a few pegs.

Hot take or not it's how I feel. I somewhat enjoyed Scream, Aim, Fire and I thought Fever was an overall good album, but I wasn't really "into" BFMV's music until Venom.

Yeah, I think when I really think about it The Poison and Fever would both be 4.5/5's for me were The Poison not such a nostalgic album for me and Fever not had the first couple tracks.
