really weird how the highlights of the album are all concentrated in the latter half, and even those dont really grip me. maybe its just my music taste that changed or the album really is inferior to the previous two records theyve released.

amongst stars and especially the last track have an obvious nightwish influence, at least thats what im hearing. im a big nightwish fan but these songs arent much more than just nice. thats how the whole album feels somehow, its all nice and kinda good but not the amazingness ive felt before when listening to amorphis.

Agreed Flug, this was a good album but I don't think it's as amazing as a lot of people here do. For me Red Cloud might be their best since Silent Waters and Skyforger.
