Band's rather prolific. Interesting snare choice. Overall dig the production on this track, sounds more organic than a lot of similar acts.

Compared to the music, the vox will never be good

the growls are awesome. his high pitched black metal thing is weak but passable. he needs to do less of those, but theyre ok.

This was one of my favs from last year. Can’t believe they have a new one out already but I’m hype to hear it. m/

It's not a new album per se, just a re-recording of their 2009 album I think.

The new album made me realize that there is way too much strings in Revenant, and it overpowers much of the instrumentation, there is 0 strings in the new one and it puts the guitars, drums and bass in center stage, and it sounds so much more focused than Revenant

Well I’m hype to start jamming it if that’s the case.

Best way I can describe the new one is it feels just like a big jam session, obviously the production is very high quality but it still feels really raw, no bells and whistles attached as I said before (with the strings on Revenant)

That's good, I was kinda hoping they'd calm it down with the string usage. It starts to get cheesy after a while with these guys.

Actually saying there are 0 strings is false, there is some, but it's very low in the mix, so it doesn't detract from any of the instrumentation

Not sure why but I can't stand the re-recording. It just feels... plastic? False? Too polished? Idk how to describe it, guess I've gotten used to the original too much.
