"Nah idk about that, this one is just a dud in a pretty stellar discog so far."
we should've seen this coming though after the unmemorable mehfest that was keep you

I cannot believe the amount of people that were butt-hurt by Keep You coming around to continue their negative piss fest on this album. What a colossal joke. As if there was any question by the three singles released prior to release day whether this would be TLLA-leaning or not.

Honestly, you and everyone else calling us being butthurt are the people overreacting. You ever stop to think that maybe we thought they could do something interesting with the sound but it turned out they failed to do it again? No, we're just butthurt and being a joke because we don't like it as much as you. So tired of that dumbass logic

The second half of this review is exactly what I'm talking about, and a SIGNIFICANT amount of people call this a snooze-fest in some way, shape, or form. It's not dumbass logic, it's coming directly from the source and the comments, man.
I might be making assumptions here, but it seems like the vast majority of people that don't like this also didn't like Keep You, and I find it utterly whack because they then either:
A) must have had the expectation that this would be a return to the former sound so they decided to tune in yet again, which is a completely ridiculous expectation based on the 3 singles released prior to the album itself.
B) knew they wouldn't like this because they didn't like Keep You and are here to continue to piss negativity because neither of these albums are TLLA.
"You ever stop to think that maybe we thought they could do something interesting with the sound but it turned out they failed to do it again?"
How did they fail? What is NOT interesting about this? I finished listening to this album and it had my head spinning, to which I'll discuss further in my upcoming review. But for real, if you don't find this interesting, then you're missing out hard.
