sry to hear that man. not sure if you're just really thick-skinned or grew numb to it, but my wife had a miscarriage a couple years ago too and it really fucked me up. not something I typically go around announcing, so I can see where you're coming from there. but if I was in Buddy's position and the singer of a band, I'm sure that painful experience would show up in my music somewhere too
fwiw, to me this album is about overcoming these painful things (there's a light at the end of the tunnel kind of thing), and accepting the bad with the good. I don't view it as him feeling sorry for himself
