biggest takeaway from my first few jams of the new one is that the songs are generally okay and probably better in isolation but the sequencing makes no goddamn sense. gonna see what i can do but i dont really see myself returning to it like a craaazy amount anyway
lesser gods is the only thing i straight up dont like but the closer hasnt really connected with me yet. jesse sounds phenomenal tho and his playing is great as always

actually really dig the title track but its a slooooooow song. the two would make a great combo if they were swapped out house of leaves sounds so out of place following it. bedsheet tourniquet kinda reminds me of skin cult and some stuff off immortal youth too which is cool very good bridge on that
