Bruh I don't even see the comparison you're making. Erra sounds nothing like those 2 bands, let's get real. Erra, ABR and last 2 MS albums are untouchable. I listen to a lot of core, I don't know what to tell you. Some of them are maybe guilty pleasures but those 3 bands are top-tier.



As for Novelists, I've really liked the numerous singles they've released the past few years but was disappointed by their full-length. Haven't listened to the new one yet, kind of feel bad since it leaked super early. That's unfortunate.

Misery Signals are top-tier, Erra and ABR are not even close to top-tier. Erra suck shit and ABR are just a solid metalcore band that is clinging to the ropes by releasing the same shit over and over again.

Well for one thing ABR doesn't throw in absolutely atrocious whiny cleans at every chorus. That shit in modern metalcore makes me puke. I don't mind cleans in metalcore at all but whiny/high pitched ones are just so awful and do not fit the music at all.

I could give a whole fucking list of bands that shit on Erra and ABR easily and it's really not that hard. Misery Signals are awesome but personally I don't consider them gods in the genre either.
