Agreed to an extent. I love me some old sounding Manson. : P
Honestly, I think his thought process was amalgamating the two sounds together; some of it worked, some less so.

That's not to say I don't enjoy this album because I certainly do
the best amalgamation of his two sounds here would have to be kill4me

Really surprised me by how well that song was received on here. I thought it was pretty weak in comparison to some of the other songs. Even then I enjoyed it a bunch though.
On reflection, the last two songs are so damn forgettable.

Yeah I liked Kill4Me, even if the way he titled it was fucking dumb.

Yeah, some of his ideas these days are so cringe. You see the t-shirt for this album's bundle? Horrendous. It has "Heaven" on the front which looks fine, but then it's ruined with Say 10 on the back like a football shirt or something.

the CD packaging for this is so weird. A nice booklet but no inlay, makes it look super cheap.

his physical copies took a bad hit when he left Cooking Vinyl. My deluxe PE vinyl, the art sheets have peeled away for no good reason; really shoddy products. Vinyl to this is so basic they couldn't fuck it up. Was considering a CD copy, but you're putting me off it now tuna haha

haha the booklet is cool but other than that it's pretty cheap, the cd tray is one of those double sided ones so that it can flip out even though there's only 1 CD, where the booklet would usually go there's just a slip of cardboard with the album cover on and the booklet goes behind the disk tray, with the back of the booklet going face down so you have the tracklist on the back
it's weird

me and my friend both have the deluxe CD of TPE, mine is fine but the cover of his has started falling off into little flaky bits for no apparent reason

Yeah, his stuff just comes across really DIY these days. Ever since BV, the physical copies look and feel like ass haha

pale emperors cd was terrible. you couldnt even see the artwork, because it was distorted by this rough coat shit all over it. and no lyric book like BV which pissed me off.

I know I'm late to the party on this one but I'm so fucking triggered by this album. All the forward progression and momentum from Pale Emperor is thrown out the window, this is just more of Born Villain and even High End Of Low. I was so disgusted by how bad Blood Honey was I couldn't get through it. Does the album get any better?

Deluxe vinyl for The Pale Emperor is dope with all the picture posters of Manson looking like a badass and I think the CD was cool if only for the novelty of the CD turning white after being played
