Beautiful album, listened on shuffle over the wknd with Tenhi’s entire discography and new Haavard, loved it. Siiville Nousu is amazing yeah. I haven’t heard anything from before Sorni Nai, but just listened to their new ATM Revised, a re-recorded version of an older album and really enjoyed it, was kinda similar to this one.

I need to try the new recording. This album is what put me onto the band, but it's not my favorite. That said, Nainen might be my favorite Kauan song.

Sorna Nai did it for me, and Ice Fleet was pretty good. Gonna have to jam them more.

Pirut to Ice fleet, quite a spectacular four in a row

Sorni Nai is really hitting the spot, so do I catapult myself forwards (here) or backwards? I’ve heard nothing else.

Guess Pirut and Ice fleet are closest to Sorni nai. The former a little heavier overall, the latter almost as cinematic as Sorni. Kaiho is softer, more ambient and without growls

This needed a few more spins than Sorni Nai for me, but it's the good stuff.

I think what sets this band apart from most post rock artists is that they don’t go too big and stick to moody atmospherics. There’s a certain mystical quality they have. Big sappy crescendo post rock is my style often but sometimes a big vast thought provoking mood is all you need. The band captures that perfectly here, especially in the infinitely relistenable track 3

yea the songs are less songs and more "compositions" that flow very well and don't revolve around choruses and that
