Want to check this still. Really enjoyed B&C and a couple of their EPs.

Really worth your time my dude. Don't expect anything as riffy as the first records

The EPs that I have are both after B&C so I have already somewhat heard their shift into the more chill side.

I did a pretty haphazard listen of this band, I guess. I didn't realize Landslide had some redux of songs from this until just now, either.

Does anybody know why they broke up so abruptly? So sad I never got to see these lads live

He kept bitching about Brexit and wanting to go to Iceland and set up a studio or something so I suppose something to do with that.

Well. If that is the case he was rather unproductive music wise, if you ignore the demo videos he released on IG.

I heard it was more about money and that the band couldn't sustain themselves

Still come to this regularly. It makes me sad that all the more niche UK bands that i love either broke up before i knew them or they break up after 2 or 3 years. Case and point: Oceansize, these guys, Cyril Snear and most tragically in recent days Black Peaks...

Statues is in my rotation all the time since i first heard it in 2016 or so and it makes me damn sad knowing that we will not get new music or live shows anymore

It's funny, every time I come back to this I go "damn, this is better than I remember".

No worries, no bitching about their disband again, I think we all accepted the sad reality by this point.

Tbh I've only recently noticed how brilliant the mix is. Sure, I knew it was decent, but really liking this part of the album more and more. Absolutely love how cirspy drums are in the final part of Arp, for example.
