they might start parodying themselves lyrically on the third part

that's strange, I find that pretty much every member is better from a rapping perspective on SatII. The most notable improvement is definitely Matt, though. The only one who maybe got worse is Merlyn because as you said Rowan, he doesn't have as many moments like on milk. I do love his lil verse on SWEET though.

their flows/rhyme schemes have improved a fair bit (Dom is especially notable in this area) and the beats/sonic construction of this album are way ahead of 1 but I just can't fully fall in love with it. they had progressing their sound and sharpening their talents as a priority, which makes sense, but it came at the expense of all the heartfelt moments Sat I had (no matter how much GAMBA or SUMMER desperately want to be SWIM/WASTE)
for the record though this is great - Merlyn is dope on QUEER and SWEET, Ameer and Dom hit a new high on those first two verses of FIGHT, and Junky has Kevin, Ameer and Matt's best verses all in the same song. it's just the rest is so inconsistent

The soft orchestral beat that comes in for the 2ND verse of Queer completes me

Each member's best verse:
Ameer: STAR
Merlyn: JUNKY
Dom: SWEET
Joba: SWAMP
Matt: JUNKY
Kevin: STAR

i prefer joba on tokyo or sweet and i'd pick kevin on junky instead of star, but pretty good choices
