I actually gave Blood Moon a listen today, hadn't heard it in quite some time. Really struck me how much better Louisa's singing fit this band. She never went too big and always sounded, for lack of a better description, haunted. Really moody, just meshed with their sound. The way they have pushed Booka's voice to the front lines is far less appealing, and I think her voice in general is just inferior.

Another lackluster single just dropped. I'm getting worried at this point. Sean is doing some weird almost cleans in the chorus that I kinda like but the mix on the thing is really muddy and not doing it any favors.

I've never really listened to this band but their newer singles didn't really impress me. I can't stand the cleans on the first 4-5 tracks on this album either. Requiem off Old Souls caught my attention though and Let Me In was a jam too.
