Album still is reigning strong a year + later and def hits the right spot when in need of bleak yet melodic bm. Great review!
Also I haven't read the 15 pages of the thread so I don't know if it was mentioned before but Aesop doesn't drum on this. It's Trevor Matthews formely of Uada fyi but yeah I'm a nerd so who cares ;)

I'm just going to go ahead and file that under biggest disappointment of 2018. I was jamming this last week and after all the hype has faded away of "John Haughm gone rogue with an actual metal band", I find myself really digging the sound on this. They were also incredibly tight live, but that was to be expected with the line up. Curious to see what's in store for these guys or if it was a one and done type situation
