"oh no is the autotune witchhunt really gonna seep into this site too"

no, just pointing out the obvious. Ronnies voice is processed a fair bit on this thing, Leto's is left for the most part, raw

I've seen many videos of him recording vocals, they're more or less the same as you hear them on their records, bar their first album, which obviously had a much more synthetic sound. His voice on their last one wasn't touched at all, the dude is a great vocalist and he knows it. Ronnie is alright, but its way more tinkered with when it comes to this album.

Jared is infinitely better than Ronnie even if I don't personally like his voice

'I can easily explain why.

- Ronnie Radke is a better vocalist than Jared Leto

- Production on this is better than 30STM's entire discog

- More (non-forced) instrumental variety here than with 30STM'

I mean it's literally the opposite for everyone of these

Ronnie finally lets go, and the new sound uplifts this new side of him so well. Everything has undergone a drastic improvement all the way down to the stylistic choices in the songwriting.

This album is a hard 3.3, if Ronnies lyrics didn't make me put my head in my hands, it'd be a 4

If the lyrics have you head in your hands how is this a 3.5? Just curious - if I felt like that, as I do, it wouldn't be near a 3.5 given how mundane the music is too

I can forgive poor lyrical content if I find the instrumentals enjoyable enough, and if the vocalist is fun enough. Ronnies voice isn't great, but I enjoy it, so even if the lyrics are poor, his vocal work keeps it interesting enough for this to be a 3.5 rather than a 2.5

Eh, fair enough, I personally can't get past the lyricism so I envy you
