nah i can assure you they absolutely exist. saying "their old shit before they got big is better" is a staple of punk fandom.

"i don't think those people actually exist since pretty much everyone can agree that black sails and art of drowning are better than the first three albums"

Except that person on the last page that said AoD was a disappointment and also said "Black Shit in the Sunset"

"The people that swear on those 3 albums being their best are the type of people whose music tastes never evolved much."

Best words ever typed on Sputnik.

The Wind That Carries Me Away has no business on this album. If they wanted to take that direction, which they REALLY FUCKING SHOULD HAVE, they should have made it the centerpiece of a blues-influenced record. So badly out of place here, but so fucking good by itself.

Now I'm imagining a blues influenced AFI album. Yeah, that would be pretty damn cool.

My review: it's nice

Also, "Black Shit in the Sunset"... that's nice too.

I enjoy every single release by AFI. I'm waiting for a 500-1,000 Song B Sides album though. Yes, there's that many AFI b-sides. Jade has only joked about auctioning them all of though.

It is pretty great, but that little autotune break is UNACCEPTABLE.

Yeah, I would kill for that b-sides collection.

B-sides collection would be amazing. Dark Snow is awesome all around, but I don't think it can compare to the greatness of Miseria or even Prelude. Probably not even Torch Song.
